What You'll Need:
1 large pot with lid
Preheat oven on 400 F
Ingredients:
5 pounds turkey necks (cut to about 2-3 inches)
1 small onion (loosely chopped or 1 cup frozen)
1 small green, red, or yellow pepper (chopped OR frozen)
4 large cloves of garlic (chopped)
1 packet Good Seasons Dry Italian Dressing
2 cans Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Roasted Garlic Soup (I strained the mushrooms out); Cream of chicken or other creamy soup (*optional-add two different soups)
2 large Tablespoonfuls Better than Bouillon Roasted Chicken OR Vegetable
4 cups water (more if needed at the end)
Instructions:
Thoroughly rinse and pat dry the turkey necks, mix in add one packet of Good Seasons Dry Italian Dressing to the wings and place in fridge overnight (or one hour)
In large pot combine bouillon and water and bring to a boil
Stir into the pot the onion, peppers, garlic and two cans (your choice) soup and bring to another boil
Then, carefully add the turkey necks, cover the pot and cook in the oven about one hour
Remove from the oven, carefully stir the mixture, and then cook on TOP of the stove on low heat for about 1+1/2 hours or until the necks are fork tender; if sauce is too thick add a little more water and heat through.
Serve with your choice of sides and enjoy!
